Problem

Graham is a large company, with many divisions focused on specific elements of construction and industries.  New employees to the company often have only a base understanding of their specific role or division.  The company wanted new employees to obtain at least a basic understanding of Graham’s operations as a whole.  This additional education had to occur during Graham’s current on-boarding program, which was already very extensive.

Solution

In consultation with Graham representatives and on-boarding facilitators, we decided to pursue a gamified group training option. This option was created to become a part of the orientation day proceedings and to act as a bit of a break from the more heavy material.  Graham wanted the tool to be fun and colorful, but they also wanted the actual board to be a learning tool that would allow the trainee to freely explore and learn from the information it presented.

Results

Feedback from the training solution has been positive from both facilitators and trainees.
